Sackmann Genusshotel – Pearls By Romantik

We stayed at Hotel Sackmann for four nights in January and had such a fantastic time. The setting is beautiful and was exactly what we needed after escaping the London grind. The leisure facilities are excellent and my children especially loved the open air pool which was a real highlight. The food throughout the hotel was wonderful and beautifully prepared by a team who are clearly passionate about what they do. Even something as simple as a freshly made omelette at breakfast finished with herbs and superb ingredients shows just how seriously they take their food. One of the real highlights of our stay was the hotel’s Alpine chalet which is part of the Sackmann group and about a 30 minute walk up into the mountains. We were lucky enough to have snow while we were there so the children went tobogganing and then being able to warm up inside with a drink and delicious food made it a really special experience. The staff were consistently warm and welcoming from the welcome drink on arrival to the daily biscuits laid out in the afternoon. The bar is also beautiful and perfect for relaxed pre dinner drinks. We were also fortunate enough to dine at the gourmet restaurant which was simply outstanding. Overall the hotel exceeded every expectation I had and more. I can’t thank the team enough for such a memorable and restorative stay and we would absolutely love to return.

Normalerweise versuche ich Bewertungen von gastronomischen Betrieben zu vermeiden aber hier hat beim Folgebesuch von vor ca 2 Jahren eine Veränderung zur Perfektion stattgefunden, so dass ich mich genötigt sehe, dies positiv in einer Rezension zu verarbeiten. Wellness ist jetzt auf einem hohen Level, Panoramasauna dann in den Rooftop Pool, der hat ca 30 bis 31 Grad und man schaut bei einer Aussentemperatur von - 4 Grad in das dampfende und neblige Tal. Bei uns sogar mit Abendsonne. Das Spa im Keller mit schönem Pool und einigen kleinen Saunen absolut auf Niveau der Österreichischen Wellnesskonkurrenten.
